New Student Registration
Registration for new students to Bennett School District
  • Required Documents:
  • Proof of residence in Bennett School District (copy of utility bill or deed/lease with parent/guardian information)
  • Copy of student’s birth certificate
  • Copy of student’s immunization records
  • Name, address and telephone number of student’s previous school
  •             Turn in copies of required documents and receive
  •             student’s registration packet at:

  • Note:  If the student you are registering is not your child you must show proof of legal guardianship.

This is information about the returning student registration packet. You may print this off at home or come pick a copy up at the middle school office.

8th Grade Promotion

8th Grade Promotion

Will take place May 16th, 2012 at 1 P.M. in the High school Auditorium.

Students that are in the 8th grade will need to adhere to the following middle school policy in order to participate in promotion activities;

 

  1. Grade average is important to participation.  Students must maintain a D average in each class in order to participate.
  2. Any student that has been suspended for a total of three days or more will not be able to participate in promotion activities.  If any student has been suspended for being in possession of weapons, drug paraphernalia or who has engaged in fighting on school grounds will not be able to participate.
  3. Any student with more than 6 absences per semester that are not excused with proper documentation will not be able to participate in promotion activities.

Documentation may include but is not limited to:

  1. A signed doctor’s note
  2. Newspaper article involving funeral dates or death notice
  3. Court documentation
  4. If the administration has any other reason to deny a student access to promotion parents will be notified.
  5. All fees must be paid prior to the ceremony.

A comprehensive science, social studies, mathematics, language arts, and an integrated developmental reading program for all students constitute the academic core of the instructional program. This core is augmented with instruction in computer technology, instrumental music, industrial arts, physical education, art, agricultural exploration, and home economics.

The extracurricular program centers around various academic groups and interscholastic athletics for both girls and boys.

PTO/ Accountability Meetings 11-12

PTO and Accountability meetings are scheduled to take place in the middle school the third Monday at 5:00 P.M. in September, October and November.    After the winter break,  meetings will resume the second Monday each month through the remainder of the school year.
